Jarred has been doing final tweaks to his custom Honda CB750, making sure all the exhaust leaks are cleared up, the timing is just right, and she is ready for the road…
Custom Honda CB750 has it’s maiden voyage:
Rolled out of the garage, and resting on the sidewalk in front of the shop, it was fun to see the passersby gawking at the shiny new creation. Our friend Stephano from Venier Customs, fresh back from Italy where he is building a few more Moto Guzzi customs, happened by and talked bikes for a bit. Stephano clearly liked what he saw on this custom Honda CB750, and it was nice to see him after his months away in Italy.
The bike kicked over easily, firing up nicely. The custom exhaust that Jarred welded up, keeping with the stock 4-2 footprint, was not nearly as loud as I expected. It has a nice roar, but it won’t disturb the neighbors… too much!
Jarred said he was going to test it out, just taking it around the block. He seemed concerned with the state of the brakes, and upon returning, said that they were far too soft, and needed some bleeding. The most important observation was that the bike was comfortable. The stance was right, and Jarred feels the bike will be a blast to ride. This is going to be one incredible ride, for the lucky biker who takes it off his hands.
The custom Honda CB750 will get a few more tweaks, and then Jarred will be onto his next project. So it won’t be living at the garage much longer, once he puts it up for sale.
Keep your eyes peeled here for the sale. This bad-ass bike is going to go kick…
