When it comes to customizing bikes, the majority of work is typically done on the more straight street versions.  But we love to see something unique and interesting done to the off-road or dual sport bikes as well.  MotoPreserve Reader Nicholas was nice enough to send us some photos of his highly modified Yamaha XT600…

After seeing our Hogs in the ‘hood post on the Yamaha XT600 (see the history of this model HERE), Nicholas sent us these photos of his gorgeous bike.  Part Mad Max, part dirt tracker, and all his own.  Builders who are thinking outside the box is what attracts us most.  Nicholas certainly falls into that category.

    Good to see a new post on the blog. I look forward to stopping by the shop one of these days (now that riding weather has finally arrived here in VT)

    1. It’s been a while! Definitely stop by soon. Probably best to leave the baby at home – too many unhealthy fluids around 🙂
