A little worse for wear…

It seems lately I keep coming across these Honda CB 550 bikes all over Williamsburg.  I know they are incredibly popular, but all the ones I’m seeing seem to be either semi-abandoned, or just down on their luck.

I like the green a bunch, and I’m not trying to be judgmental here, but PLEASE put some lube on that chain…

Like a bad parent, I am playing favorites…

The lonely Honda CB 550 K…

Everyone knows that rule number one to bad parenting is playing favorites.  Granted, grandparents can gt away with that shit.  But parents are NOT supposed to have a favorite child.  Imagine my surprise when I recognized that I had been favoring my new bike.  The old 1973 Honda CB 550 K had sat in a corner for a few months, while I poured my energy into the newer (to me) 1993 Yamaha FZR 600.   The guilt welled up in me as I pulled the CB 550 out of the garage, to use as my daily rider, for the time it would take me to repaint and modify the FZR 600… » Read more..
