Hideous colored bike survives from 1914…

Motorcycle Classics showcases this rare Yale Motorcycle on their blog site, manufactured in 1914!  Ugly?  Yes, but man, very cool.  Apparently these bikes, made by Consolidated Mfg Co, in Toledo, Ohio, are based on the original designs by the California Motorcycle company.  The California bike holds the illustrious distinction of being the first combustible engine powered vehicle to cross America, in 1903.  I like all things old, and this thing is damn old…
