Happy Thanksgiving from MotoPreserve!

So many months of winter, so many bikes to wrench...

Well, the holiday season is upon us, and the weather is finally turning cold.  While it’s sad to see the warm weather fade into less comfortable riding conditions, we are trying to focus on the positive, and that includes having a warm place to wrench over this winter.  Last winter was a brutal one, and made wrenching on the curb tough, so this year, a heated garage with many amenities will be a welcomed change of pace.  Here’s to hoping that you all will be someplace warm while trying to remove small bolts and bits…

A new era of motorcycling will be tackled...

This winter will see the rebuild of 2 Honda 350’s, a CL & CB, for two ladies who have recently gotten their licenses for the first time.  Stay tuned for updates on the progress.  For me, I will be digging into a new era of motorcycling – the super modern (for me) 1993 Yamaha FZR600.  What a change of pace this bike is from the Honda CB550 I am accustomed to.  Plenty of other projects on the back burner as well.  Other work in the garage will see a 1973 Triumph restored, and 1976 XS650 tuned and a CB500 with clean carbs…once and for all!
