Although I am sure she is sick of the process at this point, there is no denying that Ruby has the patience to get the 1969 Honda CL 350 engine spotless.  After a few months of very little work on the bike, other than cleaning and polishing, we finally began the top-end rebuild…

Tools of the trade...

After removing the valves and springs, the valves and pistons were thrown into the soda-blaster for decoking, and then the arduous process of scrubbing, scraping and polishing began once again.

This week will mark the turning point from tear-down to reassembly, and with the weather begging for new riders, Ruby couldn’t be happier.  The filming of this whole process will begin again in earnest, and we should have some great footage for you all shortly.
