Made for only 3 years, this Ducati Sport 1000 is a singular beauty. The bike was inspired by the Ducati MH900e, which was in turn, crafted using Mike “the bike” Hailwood’s 1978 Isle of Man TT winner…
Hailwood would win 12 TT races in all, and seems a fitting rider to honor with a replica model. Only 2000 MH 900s would be made, making them highly collectible.
The lines of this bike are pure Italian racing, and the dash and bars are clean, devoid of clutter or any unnecessary accoutrements. Below, the inspiration – a 2001 Ducati MH900 (courtesy of South Bay Riders).
