I had the MotoPreserve garage all to myself the other day, and spent some time organizing and cleaning. As I walked around the shop, I noticed all the bikes, various bits and tools lying in wait, ready to be a part of the next custom motorcycle build. It became clear that the winter build season is upon us…
Which Custom Motorcycle will you be working on this Winter?
We have had a constant string of builds happening at MotoPreserve, but the winter sees a decrease in riding, and an increase in lofty goals. The shop has been in a constant state of flux, looking for that perfect balance between room to work, and room to park the bikes we are working on.
There is a great anticipation throughout the shop, wondering if this will be a mellow winter like the last one we had. Last year, most of the members were able to ride through the majority of the season due to unseasonably warm temps. Let’s hop this year is like last, and we can split our time between building and riding.
There are a few builds that are near completion, including; Danny’s Yamaha XS650 Cafe Racer, Jarred’s Honda CB750 Super Sport, and a really cool ’70’s Honda Elsinore MT250. Keep an eye out for the results, they are sure to please. Getting these bikes done should open up some room for the next builds, so come Spring, we should have a healthy amount of work done, and some great looking custom motorcycle builds.
Stay tuned for the action updates…
