The boys of Waiting Out Winter relaxing for a bit at Cast and Salvage….

One day not long ago, Danny was working outside at MotoPreserve when a guy pulled up looking for a high curb to unload his Honda CB500.  Of course Danny lent a hand, and the bike’s owner, Andrew, shot me an email introducing himself, promising to stop back sometime soon. Before he’s had a chance to do so, he has shot a short film called Waiting Out Winter…

Stuck indoors this winter? Waiting Out Winter

Well, Andrew hasn’t been back to MotoPreserve yet, but he shot me another email letting me know that he has recently finished a new film short, titled: “Waiting Out Winter.”  The short depicts the Philadelphia motorcycle shop Cast and Salvage, who like the rest of us in the Northeast, are biding their time until the weather gets agreeable again.  Looks like Andrew has been getting some good press on Pipeburn and other moto-related sites around the net.

Owners Ricky Yerkes and Adam Jordan, started the workshop to support the lifestyle around owning and riding old motorcycles in Philadelphia. In addition to service and repair, Cast & Salvage offers the know-how and willingness to create in order to make these old machines unique to you.
