Brandon is moving right along with the 1970 Harley Shovelhead. The front end needed immediate attention, but Brandon also decided to address the pipes using some spare parts to create a custom exhaust…
1970 Harley Shovelhead gets pipes…
There are plenty of outlets online to purchase drag pipes for this bike. There was no need to spend additional money, using spare parts from previous bikes. Pipe material was found in the shop, cut to shape, and tack welded together to create a custom pipe. This Shovelhead had some large pipes before, and the slimming down of this bike is in full swing. While this custom Harley will never be considered “subtle,” as a result of this mod the bike is now getting down to its true fighting weight.
The pipes were placed onto the bike for final fitment testing, and then they will be final welded. This mod is a great looking addition, and provides an exhaust more befitting this 1970 Harley Shovelhead….
would you be interested in making another set? love these things

I believe these were probably welded up by Jared, who is now over at fifty50cycles. You can contact him there and ask about it.
