MotoPreserve build: A creative take on a classic,…Christian’s Honda CB350 Scrambler.

Well, it’s been quite a while since I posted here.  Not for a lack of love for the web site, but more for life getting in the way.  The big news is that I will be moving up to the great state of Vermont, to a small town called Barre.  While I will miss the folks at the garage here in Brooklyn, their efforts will continue, and I will be expanding the MotoPreserve reach northward, for some great riding, more mods and hopefully some exciting builds…

The knobby tires alone make this Honda CB350 stand out…

There will be some regret, I am sure, when the reality sinks in that I won’t have the camaraderie, and the inspiration I get from seeing great builds every day, like the one Christian is working on (photos above).  Nothing better than walking in the door at MotoPreserve to see a bike like the Honda CB350 Scrambler on the lift.  Christian has been toying with different ideas and directions for this build, and finally settled on the Scrambler look.

With knobby tires, Renthal dirt-bike bars, and soon some custom-built upswept pipes, this bike will certainly stand out among the Honda CB350 that are often seen around these parts.

This is the kind of inspiration I will have to seek out in Vermont – but I have already met some people who seem to care as much about the vintage bike scene as we all do down here.

Stay tuned for some reports from the north…
